Twitter CEO Elon Musk to Start Restoring Most Banned Accounts

Almost all of the previously banned accounts will be brought back by Twitter’s new CEO Elon Musk. This news came as a result of a poll by Twitter CEO. This amnesty will start as soon as next week.

In a poll, Elon Musk asked if the social network should bring back suspended accounts. More than 3 million people voted whether or not to offer a general amnesty to suspended accounts, provided that they have not broken the law or engaged in egregious spam. 72.4% of respondents voted in favor of the change. Amnesty begins next week, said Musk.

According to experts, bringing back accounts that have been banned for offenses such as violent threats, harassment, and misinformation will have a significant impact on the company.

Musk did not clarify the term “egregious spam”, which many others questioned how he would handle the situation as it’s difficult to distinguish banned users that have broken the law.

Situation will clear out in the coming week as more news will come out, until then we have to wait.
