The upcoming Xiaomi 13 Ultra smartphone, which is expected to launch globally on April 18, has sparked numerous leaks and reports regarding its key specifications and features. The company has confirmed several details, including the addition of Leica-tuned cameras to its successor, the Xiaomi 13 series.
Xiaomi 13 Ultra’s quad rear camera setup, which includes one 50-megapixel Sony IMX989 sensor and three 50-megapixel Sony IMX858 sensors, was announced by the company in an official Weibo post. The post further that the cameras will have upgraded noise reduction technologies and HDR capabilities.

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra has already been confirmed by the company and Leica that it will come with the world’s most exceptional Leica Summicron lens, which features a spherical optical construction that is said to aid in perfect imaging and excellent contrasts.
According to previous reports, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is expected to feature a 6.7-inch WQHD+ AMOLED LTPO display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. The smartphone is expected to come with a 32-megapixel front camera.
The Xiaomi 13 Ultra is anticipated to be powered by Android 13-based MIUI 14 and to have a 4,900mAh battery with 90W fast charging capability.
