A new range of portable displays designed for professional-grade creators, such as visual artists, architects, 3D modelers, and graphic designers, is being introduced by ViewSonic, a California-based hardware manufacturer. The company is known for producing premium-quality displays and aims to elevate its profile with this latest addition.
The latest additions to the line consist of three pen tablets, namely the ID1230 pen display and PF720 and PF1020 graphical slates. The ID1230 is the only device with an active display and is said to offer “studio-grade color performance” with up to 90% of the Adobe RGB color gamut and 85% of the NTSC color space.

With a weight of only 600 grams, this tablet is the lightest 12-inch drawing tablet ever created. Moreover, there are two other compact devices, the PF720 and PF1020, that weigh around 190g and 380g, respectively. The tablets provided an efficient drawing experience with 8,192 pen pressure sensitivity levels and +-60 degree tilt angle recognition.
Tablets with hotkeys for multiple shortcuts and USB type-C charging, data transfer, or mirroring capabilities are compatible with any current PC or 4K monitor. For optimal performance, ViewSonic suggests using a ColorPro external display.
