Twitter to Rollout New Features to Side Sweep Through Tweets, Trends, Topics

From February 1st Twitter Users Can Appeal Account Suspension

Elon Musk said that users will soon be able to side-swipe to switch between tweets, topics, lists, and more. He further suggested that there will be several major UI changes to the platform in January.

The new CEO of the social media platform has made a lot of changes since the take over. . The View Count feature was rolled out to showcase how alive the platform is as most users are believed to just read a message without interacting.

The new feature allows users to easily access recommended and followed topics and lists. Musk says that with the gradual improvement of the Twitter artificial intelligence, “recommended tweets, lists & topics will become awesome”.

The Home timeline allows users to read in chronological order. The new navigation coming in January will allow the user to switch between recommended and followed tweets, trends, topics, etc. The text for Views, Likes, Retweets and Quote Tweets could be replaced with icons.

A new View Count feature was recently introduced by Twitter is visible to everyone. This feature was only available to videos on the platform. The feature is not compatible with older tweets.

A couple of new features have been received by Twitter Blue and the platform will prioritize paid subscribers in searches, mentions, and replies and also the previous limit of 10 minutes for full-HD videos will now be increased to 60 minutes.
