The renowned music and podcast streaming company Spotify has provided a stable update for the Android 13’s redesigned media player for eligible devices on the Google Play store.
There was a redesign of the media player on the lock screen and notification menu. The new media player has a taller frame for album art previews, a redesign of icons, and better placement of the seek bar. Spotifty has added support for the new media player on the 13th edition of the Android operating system.
The seek bar is on the bottom, flanked on either side by the next and previous track navigation buttons. The shuffle and heart buttons are on the new media player.
Spotify is not the first third-party streaming app to introduce support for the new media player, as services like Pocket Casts, and Shazam have already updated their apps to support the new media player. The latest stable version of Spotify is available for eligible device users around the world.
