SoundHound, a music recognition software company, has revealed that it will be integrating ChatGPT into its iOS and Android apps for Chat AI. The company asserts that the integration will enable users to steer clear of what it calls AI hallucinations by selecting the appropriate response through intelligent processing. The platform enables businesses to create AI-powered next-generation voice assistants.
The announcement was made in the newsroom post on its official website that it is combining voice-enabled Generative AI and the power of a voice assistant to create SoundHound Chat AI, which will enable consumers and businesses to create their own AI-powered voice assistants. The company has named its AI Chat’s proprietary technology as CaiLAN (Conversational AI Language) while the machine learning technology has been named CaiNet (Conversational AI Network).
The company believes that the new platform enables users to submit queries in the quickest and most efficient manner, which is through speaking. The CaiLAN platform reduces the number of unrecognized questions by utilizing its proprietary technology that selects the most appropriate response from the most relevant domain, by utilizing ChatGPT, and real-time questions about weather, sports, stock, and flight status etc.
CaiLAN utilizes software engineering and a network of more than 100 domains to construct knowledge domains on topics such as weather, restaurants, traffic, and local search.
Keyvan Mohajer, CEO and Co-Founder of SoundHound, stated in the newsroom post that SoundHound Chat AI introduces a new era of voice-enabled, conversational AI that was previously only a science fiction concept.
