The Nubia Red Magic 8 Pro series of gaming phones were launched in China. The new high-performance phones smart phone series comprises of Nubia Red Magic 8 Pro and Nubia Red Magic 8 Pro+. Both phones, Red Magic 8 Pro and Red Magic 8 Pro+ are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The Nubia Red Magic 8 Pro+ is available in two different editions, the Dark Knight and Deuterium Transparent.
There are two versions of the Dark Knight edition, one with 12 gigabytes of RAM and 512 gigabytes of storage and the other with 16 gigabytes of RAM and 512 gigabytes of storage. The transparent edition of the Red Magic 8 Pro+ is available in a variety of configurations, 12GB RAM + 256GB Storage, 16GB RAM + 512GB and 16GB RAM + 1 TB Storage.
The phones are powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 with Android 13-based Red Magic OS 6.0 out-of-the-box, 6.8-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, and 20:9 aspect ratio. The phone features a triple rear camera setup with 50-megapixel Samsung GN5 main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera ant the front camera is 16-megapixel under-display. Other features includes Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n/ac/ax, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, a USB Type-C port and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Both phones have the same specifications except the battery, the Nubia Red Magic 8 Pro+ packs a 5000mAh battery with 165W fast charging while the Nubia Red Magic 8 Pro has 6,000mAh battery and supports 80W fast charging.
