There are a lot of new features for excel has been rolled out from Microsoft for Web, Windows and Mac users. Suggested Links, image function, Formula Suggestions, Formula by example, etc. are some of the new features for Web users. Users will be suggested a new location to fix broken external links with the new Suggested Links feature.
Users will be able to work with images within an excel table with the image function tool. For Windows users, the image function and a new keyboard shortcut is introduced that will let users open the Power Query editor, while Mac users only get the image function tool. The user’s data will be used to suggest the best formula.
Users will need to type the ‘=’ in a cell or formula bar to access this feature. It supports only the English language when it comes to SUM, AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, MIN, and COUNTA formulas. The new formula by example will help make manual data entry easier by suggesting filling the entire column with a formula. The Search bar will allow users to find their queries in the Queries search pane.
