Google working on iOS-Like New App Sync Feature for Android

Sync-Apps-Devices-Google

A report suggests that Google has initiated the rollout of an iOS-like feature to simplify multi-device usage for Android users. The ‘Manage apps and device’ section of Google PlayStore will now offer a new option called ‘Sync Apps to Devices. It is anticipated that this feature will enable Android users to install apps on all devices that are logged-in from a single Google account.

The purpose of introducing this feature is to enhance the level of convenience for users of Android devices, such as phones, tablets, and watches, among others. The rollout of this feature has not been officially announced by Google, but some individuals have already noticed it on PlayStore.

If someone is using two or more Android phones at the same time, they will be able to mirror all their apps that are signed-in to the same Google accounts on all of their phones. The feature will not update the apps on all connected devices simultaneously. However, users can manually update all the apps on different devices.

This feature is already available to iOS users from Apple. All devices connected to the same Apple ID are automatically synced by default, including iPhones, iPads, MacBooks, and Apple Watches.
