Apple Music Classical, an app for classical music, has been launched by Apple. The app can be downloaded from the App Store and in the near future, it will also be available for Android users.

According to Apple, the app boasts the most extensive classical musical library in the world, with over 5 million tracks available. The app is available for free to Apple Music subscribers.

Apple Music Classical is accessible in all countries where Apple Music is available, except for China, Japan, South Korea, Russia, Taiwan, and Turkey. Apple has made public the launch of Apple Music Classical through its newsroom post.

With over 50 million data points and data attributes spanning 20,000+ composers, 115,000+ unique works, and 350,000+ movements, subscribers can access recordings from all over the world.

The interface of the Apple Music Classical app is reminiscent of that of Apple Music. Users will be able to search by composer, work, opus number, conductor, artist, instrument, or the name of the work. In addition to receiving suggestions from recordings, they will also be given a hand-picked “Editor’s Choice” performance. Lossless audio up to 24 bit/192 kHz and Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos are also supported by Apple Music Classical.
