According to a report, Microsoft has begun testing Windows Subsystem for Android (WSA) on Windows 11 through the beta update. The Windows Subsystem for Android 13 on Windows 11 is being made available to members who have signed up for the Windows Subsystem for Android Preview Program.
Members who have registered on the Windows Subsystem for Android Preview program will receive WSA version number 2211.40000.7.0 for Windows 11. The boot speed is said to be improved by up to 50 percent with the improvements to mouse click input, clipboard stability, and application resizing. Reliability improvements have been made to media files that are located on the phone.
The Intel bridge technology has been upgraded to work with the latest version of Android 13, while the Windows Subsystem has been updated to work with the latest version of Windows.
According to the post, Microsoft is inviting reviewers to submit feedback on the WSA for Android 13 beta via the feedback hub on Windows System for Android. Users who want to try out the latest version of WSA for Windows 11 will need to register for the Windows Subsystem for Android Preview program using a Microsoft account. The wait time could be up to 7 days.
There is no official confirmation on when the stable WSA for Windows 11 with Android 13 support will be made available to everyone.
