Samsung Launches Galaxy A56 5G, Galaxy A36 5G, and Galaxy A26 5G with 6.7-inch AMOLED Displays and 5,000mAh Batteries
Samsung has announced three new Galaxy A series smartphones: the Galaxy A56 5G, Galaxy A36 5G, and Galaxy A26 5G, ahead of Mobile World Congress 2025. These smartphones have 6.7-inch Super AMOLED panels with 120Hz refresh rates and come in 128GB and 256GB storage options. They run Android 15 with Samsung’s revamped One UI 7 interface and are scheduled to receive six years of software and security upgrades. All three variants have a 50-megapixel main camera, 12MP and 8MP ultrawide cameras, and a 5-megapixel macro camera. In addition, they contain a 12-megapixel selfie camera and a 13-megapixel front camera. The connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C connection.

Cost and Availability of the Samsung Galaxy A56 5G, Galaxy A36 5G, and Galaxy A26 5G
The standard Samsung Galaxy A56 5G model, which has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, costs EUR 479. The device also comes in a 256GB storage version, which costs EUR 529 (about Rs. 48,000). It is available in Awesome Graphite, Awesome Lightgray, Awesome Olive, and Awesome Pink colors.
The base model of the Samsung Galaxy A36 5G with 128GB of storage costs EUR 379 and EUR 399, while the 256GB model costs EUR 449. The model will be available in Awesome Black, Awesome Lavender, and Awesome Lime from the firm.
The Samsung Galaxy A26 5G is the most reasonably priced of the three models the firm unveiled on Sunday, with the 128GB variant costing EUR 299. A 256GB version is also available for EUR 369, or around Rs. 33,500. The Galaxy A26 5G comes in white, peach pink, mint, and black.

Additionally, Samsung has promoted the phones’ new Galaxy AI functions, including Read Aloud, AI Select, Auto Trim, and Best Face.
All three versions include a 50-megapixel main camera with an f/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilization. Along with a 5 megapixel macro camera, the Samsung Galaxy A56 5G and Galaxy A36 5G have 12-megapixel and 8-megapixel ultrawide cameras, respectively. The Galaxy A26 5G features a 2-megapixel macro camera in addition to an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera.
The Samsung Galaxy A56 5G and Galaxy A36 5G both have a 12-megapixel selfie camera located in a hole punch display cutout. A 13-megapixel front-facing camera is situated in a waterdrop-shaped display notch on the Galaxy A26 5G.
All three versions include connectivity features including GPS, NFC, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi, 5G, 4G LTE, and a USB Type-C connector. Samsung has included a 5,000mAh battery in the Galaxy A56 5G, Galaxy A36 5G, and Galaxy A26 5G. The Galaxy A26 is capable of 25W charging, but the Galaxy A56 5G and Galaxy A36 5G enable 45W charging. These phones are water and dust resistant, with an IP67 classification.
