
Huawei Pura X Foldable Phone Debuts With 6.3-Inch 16:10 Wide Inner Screen
Huawei has released the Huawei Pura X in China, a foldable phone with a distinctive look. The clamshell foldable phone has a 6.3-inch internal screen with a 16:10 aspect ratio, a 3.5-inch external display, and a triple camera arrangement. It runs HarmonyOS 5.0.1 and offers up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The phone is offered in Moon Shadow Gray, Magic Night Black, Stylish Red, Stylish Green, and Zero White. It also has a Collector’s Edition with a unique tri-color back cover design and satellite connection capabilities. The phone supports Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS/AGPS, NFC, GLONASS, Beidou, NavIC, and a charging USB Type-C connector.

The clamshell folding phone features the widest clamshell foldable screen, measuring 6.3 inches and with a 16:10 aspect ratio. It also has a triple camera arrangement and a 3.5-inch external display. Running HarmonyOS 5.0.1, the phone has up to 1TB of storage and 16GB of RAM. The Huawei Pura X has a 4,720mAh battery that can be charged with 66W cable and 40W wireless power.
Huawei Pura X Storage and Price Options:
The Huawei Pura X with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage costs around CNY 7,499 while the option with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage costs around CNY 7,999. It comes in Moon Shadow Gray, Magic Night Black, Stylish Red, Stylish Green, and Zero White. It is presently available for pre-order in China, with delivery beginning March 21.
Huawei is also releasing a Collector’s Edition of the Huawei Pura X with a unique tri-color back cover design and satellite connection capability. The Huawei Pura X Collector’s Edition is priced at CNY 8,999 for 16GB + 512GB and CNY 9,999 for 16GB + 1TB RAM and storage, respectively.

The Huawei Pura X is a clamshell foldable smartphone with a 6.3-inch internal OLED LTPO 2.0 display that has a wide 16:10 aspect ratio, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and a resolution of 1,320 x 2,120 pixels. It runs on HarmonyOS 5.0.1. When compared to typical flip phones, which have a tall 21:9 aspect ratio, the wide aspect ratio allows consumers to enjoy content more effectively. With a resolution of 980 × 980 pixels and an adjustable refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, the external screen measures 3.5 inches. Both panels have high-frequency PWM dimming at 1440 Hz and touch sampling at up to 300 Hz. Although the brand has not yet revealed the new phone’s chipset, it is rumored to be a Kirin 9010 model.

The Huawei Pura X boasts a triple outward-facing camera arrangement that includes an 8-megapixel telephoto camera with optical image stabilization, a 40-megapixel ultra-wide-angle macro camera, and a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization. The phone’s inner screen has a 10.7-megapixel sensor. Because of its IPX8 rating, it is resistant to dust and water.

Bluetooth 5.2, GPS/AGPS, NFC, GLONASS, Beidou, NavIC, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be, and a USB Type-C port for charging are among the Huawei Pura X’s connectivity features. An ambient light sensor, color temperature sensor, gesture sensor, gravity sensor, infrared (IR) sensor, hall sensor, gyroscope, and proximity sensor are among the sensors aboard. For security, there is also a fingerprint scanner on the side. The Huawei Pura X Collector’s Edition has the ability to communicate via satellite (Tiantong).
